Mission Statement

At Ketamine Healing Group (KHG) our mission is to provide treatment options that are outside of the scope of “normal” western medicine. Here at KHG we focus on the co-creation of a vessel with a foundation of trust and security. This is a vital component in psychedelic medicine work, as each individual needs to have trust within their clinical team and within themselves to travel to the depths of their own psyche. Our goal is to foster an environment so each being that we treat has the space held for them to connect to their own inner healing intelligence. The path to healing is self-determined, and we honor that value here at KHG. We do this with the goal of facilitating the alleviation of the suffering incessantly occurring in our culture.

Is Ketamine Therapy for you?

At Ketamine Healing Group we like to acknowledge the travesty that ketamine is still being thought of as a last resort treatment for the many people who are suffering in our communities. Advertisements and labels use words like treatment resistant (a micro aggressive term), for people to meet criteria for esketamine, an analogue made for the purpose of big pharma making their cut by patenting a medicine that’s been in use for over sixty years as a schedule III narcotic, meaning it’s safe for medical use with a lower potential for abuse. The benefits of ketamine being delivered through IM or IV in a clinic with trained therapists who specialize in this modality of therapy have superior results to esketamine.

Additionally, no one is treatment resistant. The term itself mean’s that at least 2 evidenced-based interventions have been tried with an individual without successful outcomes. With at least one being a pharmacological treatment. We have to remember that psychiatry is in its infancy. We are just beginning to have some understanding of the brain and nervous system and how they work together to create the experience of our lives and day to day emotional regulation. Additionally, most individuals who have tried psychiatric medications would likely agree that the medications are failing to produce any enough benefits to outweigh the adverse reactions from the medications. From what we have collectively witnessed through 20-years of combined experience of our clinical team, ketamine should be considered a first line of defense against many of the diagnostic labels people are handed when they walk into a clinic looking for support.

Essentially, if you or someone you know is suffering call us at KHG, and we will help you determine if ketamine therapy is right for you. We offer a 15-minute free phone consultation to determine if you are eligible for ketamine treatment. Each client meets with a licensed and trained professional for a full biopsychosocial assessment to ensure the person meets criteria for treatment and that there are no contraindications for treatment. Once that is established we collaboratively develop a treatment plan with its foundation in evidenced-based research and real world application in our practice. We believe in what we say, “the path to healing is self-discovered”, and we encourage the people we work with to follow their truth when determining their treatment plan.

FAQs About Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Ketamine Infusion Therapy involves administering low doses of ketamine through an IV to help treat conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD.

Ketamine acts on NMDA receptors in the brain, which helps restore communication between certain brain cells, offering rapid relief for some people suffering from depression.

The effects can vary, but many patients report relief lasting days to weeks after an infusion. A series of treatments may be recommended for long-term benefits.

Common side effects may include nausea, dizziness, and mild dissociation. These are usually temporary and go away shortly after the infusion ends.

We Want To Heear From You

At Ketamine Healing Group, we believe in a client-centered approach to mental health care. We take the time to listen to our clients and work collaboratively with them to develop a treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and goals.
