Ketamine Infusion Therapy involves administering low doses of ketamine through an IV to help treat conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD.
Ketamine acts on NMDA receptors in the brain, which helps restore communication between certain brain cells, offering rapid relief for some people suffering from depression.
The effects can vary, but many patients report relief lasting days to weeks after an infusion. A series of treatments may be recommended for long-term benefits.
Common side effects may include nausea, dizziness, and mild dissociation. These are usually temporary and go away shortly after the infusion ends.
At Ketamine Healing Group, we believe in a patient-centered approach to mental health care. We take the time to listen to our patients and work collaboratively with them to develop a treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and goals.
